Abu Dhabi University (ADU), established in 2003, is one of the leading private universities in the United Arab Emirates, with campuses located in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, and Madinat Zayed. The university hosts a diverse student body of around 8,000 students from more than 70 nationalities. ADU offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs through its four main colleges: the College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Law. Additionally, the university operates an English Language Institute to support language development for non-native English speakers.

Similarly, in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025, ADU rose to 191st globally, a notable jump from its previous placement in the 201–250 bracket. Regionally, ADU also showed strong performance, moving up 11 places to rank 12th in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2025.
