Overview

City University and St George’s University are assessed separately in the QS Subject Rankings 2025 due to the timing of data collection. However, the merged institution will be evaluated as a single entity in the QS Rankings starting from QS WUR 2026, which will be published in June 2025.

As of 1 August 2024, City, University of London has merged with St George’s, University of London, forming City St George’s, University of London—one of London’s largest higher education institutions.

Currently, both universities maintain separate profiles, so references to their legacy names (City and St George’s) may still appear. This profile specifically pertains to City, University of London and will be updated to reflect the merger in due course.

For the 2025/26 academic year, the institution will follow a ‘dual running’ model, meaning separate application policies and procedures will remain in place. Programmes and study locations for 2025 entry are expected to remain unchanged.
