Overview

The University of Brescia offers a broad array of academic programs, including Bachelor's and Master of Science (MSc) degrees, postgraduate technical courses, specialization schools, and Ph.D. programs across several disciplines, including business and economics, engineering and technology, law, medicine and surgery, and dentistry. In 2024, it offers 28 undergraduate degree programs, 27 postgraduate programs, and 12 doctoral programs.

The university is committed to advancing research and meeting the educational needs of both European and global communities by fostering collaboration and integration. It promotes internationalization through exchange agreements and cooperation programs, encouraging mobility for students and researchers. This is reflected in a variety of double-degree programs, English-taught courses, international summer schools, and highly-regarded scientific research with numerous international awards. Currently, the University of Brescia is engaged in around 260 active research projects, with 43 international and 220 national projects. It has received significant funding, including 25 projects under the 7th Framework Programme and 27 under Horizon 2020, and is actively participating in several European programs such as Horizon Europe, COST actions, Erasmus+, and others. The university is also the host of an ERC-2019 Starting Grant and an ERC-2021 Consolidator Grant.
