East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) is situated in Shanghai, a vibrant global city renowned for its cultural diversity, distinguished personalities, and stunning attractions. According to the U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities, ECUST ranks 577 globally, while the QS World University Rankings 2025 places it in the 641-650 bracket. Similarly, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 lists it within the 601–800 range. The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) 2024 ranks ECUST 364th globally, placing it among the top 1.8% of universities worldwide.
