The University of Klagenfurt, located in the southern part of Austria, is a dynamic and modern institution. Its library, the largest in Carinthia, holds around 1 million books, 50,000 e-books, 14,000 e-journals, and over 50 licensed databases. Open 24/7, the university library houses valuable collections, including the Karl Popper, Joseph Buttinger, Goess, and Hermann Broch libraries, and special historical items like 30,000 old prints, 700 early prints, 271 incunabula, 374 paper manuscripts, and 66 parchment manuscripts.
