Overview

Central South University (CSU) is a prestigious institution directly governed by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the People's Republic of China. It was among the first universities included in “Project 211,” “Project 985,” and “Plan 2011,” all of which are Chinese government initiatives to enhance higher education and foster world-class institutions. In September 2017, CSU was recognized as one of the A-Level "Double First Rate" universities by the State Council.
