Overview

Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), established in 1962, was the first new public university founded in Germany post-World War II. Today, RUB stands as one of Europe's most dynamic universities, with a student population of over 43,000, including more than 5,500 graduates and nearly 600 PhD students annually.
