Overview

Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) traces its origins to 1842 when King Willem II established the Royal Academy to train engineers and civil servants. Achieving university status in 1986, TU Delft stands as the Netherlands' oldest and largest technical university.

With around 16,000 students, including a significant international population, TU Delft is structured into eight faculties offering 14 undergraduate programs and over 30 postgraduate courses in design, engineering, and science. While all Master’s programs are conducted in English, most undergraduate courses are taught in Dutch.
