Additionally, UBC’s Faculty of Medicine provides clinical education across more than 80 training sites throughout British Columbia.

In the QS World University Rankings 2025, UBC is ranked 38th worldwide, an improvement from 47th in the previous year, and stands as the third-highest Canadian university. The Times Higher Education (THE) 2024 ranks UBC at 40th globally, maintaining its strong reputation for teaching, research, and international outlook. According to U.S. News & World Report 2024, UBC is ranked 35th worldwide, making it the second-highest Canadian institution on the list. Additionally, in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2023, UBC is placed at 44th globally. UBC also excels in subject-specific rankings, including Linguistics (11) in QS by subject and Environmental Engineering (39) in URAP by subject.
