Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) is a private research institution in Cleveland, Ohio, established in 1967 through the merger of Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve University. Serving over 11,000 students, it offers nearly 95 undergraduate programs, 135 graduate courses, and around 140 dual-degree options across eight schools. The campus spans 185 acres in Cleveland's University Circle, complemented by a 389-acre farm. CWRU is a member of the Association of American Universities and recognized for high research activity. Its alumni network includes 16 Nobel laureates.
