The DashTickets merit awards are competitive scholarships designed to partially or fully fund the educational expenses of undergraduate students. This scholarship is open to all European students who meet the eligibility requirements. In our increasingly interconnected world, entertainment plays a vital role in education. Through various mediums such as films, games, live performances, and digital media, the combination of entertainment and education—known as "Edutainment"—creates unique opportunities for learning and personal development. With a longstanding commitment to entertainment and ticketing, DashTickets is thrilled to introduce merit awards to support undergraduate students across Europe who are passionate about the potential of edutainment. 

Merit Awards offer recipients essential financial assistance, ensuring that students can access the advantages of a high-quality academic experience, irrespective of their financial circumstances. For the 2024-2025 academic year, Merit Awards will be available to undergraduate applicants based on their merit-based applications. International students applying during the Early, Winter, or Spring Sessions will also be considered for these merit-based financial aid opportunities.

• Undergraduate students across Europe and high school students with an acceptance letter to an European university to participate.

Application Procedure

To apply, submit your application along with a motivational letter and a short essay. The essay should explore the theme:

Your application must include:

1. A copy of a document proving your current enrollment or acceptance letter to a university in Europe.
2. Your short essay (1000-2000 words).
3. A motivational letter explaining why you are interested in this scholarship and how you believe edutainment can transform education.

What Financial Support is Available?

• The most deserving participant will receive a substantial €3000 scholarship to support their studies.
• The scholarship is intended to supports the educational expenses, such as tuition fees, course materials, or living expenses, if the winner is studying away from home.
