The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) 2025, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic, offers a fantastic opportunity for professionals from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to take part in fully funded short courses in the Netherlands. Designed for individuals aged between 20 to 45 years, the program focuses on capacity building and encourages international collaboration. These short courses, which range from 2 to 13 weeks, cover a variety of topics including governance, climate change, and gender equality, among others.
The MENA Scholarship Programme 2025 provides an excellent chance for mid-career professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from top-tier Dutch educational institutions, gain valuable international exposure, and focus on skill development in areas vital for the sustainable growth of the MENA region. By strengthening professional networks and fostering cultural exchange between the Netherlands and MENA countries, this program opens doors for future collaboration and innovation.
Be a citizen and resident of a participating MENA country.
Be currently residing and working in their country of citizenship.
Submit an employer’s statement in the Nuffic-required format.
Possess a valid passport for at least 3 months after submission.
Provide a government statement (if applicable) based on the employer's country.
Be 45 years or younger at the time of the application submission.
Have not received more than one MSP scholarship for overlapping courses.
Follow these steps to apply for the MENA Scholarship Programme 2025:
Choose a Course: Select an eligible short course offered by a Dutch institution participating in the MSP.
Apply to the Course: Submit an application directly to the selected Dutch institution.
Submit Scholarship Application: After applying for the course, apply for the MENA Scholarship through the institution's designated application process.
Prepare and Submit Documents: Ensure you provide all necessary documents, including a valid passport, employer’s statement, and a government statement if required.
Full funding covering tuition fees, travel expenses, visa, and living costs.
