The Wells Mountain Initiative (WMI) Scholars Program supports students from developing countries and encourages them to pursue their undergraduate education in their home country or another developing country. The program does not fund studies in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, or Western Europe. WMI itself is based in the United States, but its scholarships are intended to support students globally, focusing on regions where access to higher education is limited.
