The scholarship application process for the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) follows two main rounds each year:
Round 1 (International): Applications close on 31 August each year, with scholarships for students commencing between January and March of the following year.
Round 1 (Domestic): Applications close on 31 October each year, with scholarships for students commencing between January and March of the following year.
Round 2 (International and Domestic): This round has a deadline of 15 April each year, with scholarships for students commencing by the end of August of the same year.
These rounds allow both international and domestic students to apply for RTP scholarships, with different deadlines based on their status.
