Roche has committed to achieving Net Zero emissions globally by 2050 and reducing the environmental impact of its products and operations by half.

In line with these values, Roche is proud to partner with One Young World to launch the Roche Scholarship 2025. This initiative will offer four exceptional professionals working within the NHS the opportunity to attend the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany, from 3-6 November 2025.

This program is aimed at young leaders within the NHS who have demonstrated a commitment to driving sustainable innovation in healthcare. Possible areas of focus include:

• Addressing the root causes and impacts of health inequalities.
• Developing or implementing innovative treatment or diagnostic methods to improve patient care.
• Reducing emissions or environmental strain, such as by decarbonizing healthcare supply chains.

Who Can Apply?

• Applicants must be aged 18 to 35 at the time of the Summit.
• Open to nationals of all countries, but applicants must:
  • Be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Hold a position within the NHS or in an organization collaborating with the NHS.
  • Have an understanding of both local and global healthcare issues.
  • Possess a proven record of creating impactful, innovative solutions.
  • Show a clear commitment to sustainable healthcare innovation.

Applications are not accepted from those under 18 at the time of the Summit.

Application Procedure

To apply for the Roche Scholarship 2025, interested individuals must submit the following documents:

• A completed application form (available on the One Young World website)
• An up-to-date CV
• A compelling cover letter highlighting their NHS experience and commitment to sustainable innovation in healthcare
• Two letters of recommendation from their line manager or senior colleagues

What Financial Support is Available?

• Economy class travel expenses for round-trip transportation to and from Munich.
• Full catering, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, provided by the hotel and during the Summit.
• Transportation costs between the airport and hotel covered via public transport.
