Application Procedure
To complete the scholarship application, follow these three essential steps:

Online Scholarship Application
- Complete the online scholarship application form. The application link is active only during the specified application period.

Submission of CV/Résumé
- Upload your CV/résumé to your University Admissions account.

Create and Upload a Video
- Record a video (maximum 60 seconds) explaining why you should be awarded the scholarship.
- Upload the video to a website or cloud storage and provide the link in your scholarship application. Ensure the video is accessible through the link only.
Important Notes:
- Do not email the video or send any documents directly to Dalarna University.
- Upload all required documents before or during the scholarship application period, separate from the Master’s degree application period at UniversityAdmissions.se.
Video Guidelines:
- Use any device (e.g., laptop, phone) to record the video.
- Find a quiet place with good lighting for recording.
- Practice your speech to deliver a clear and concise message.
Deadlines:
- Submit the online application form and upload all required documents by the final deadline (e.g., September 30 or March 1, depending on the semester).
- Incomplete applications or those missing documents will not be processed.
What Financial Support is Available?
Our scholarships go directly towards a reduction in your tuition fees and will cover between 10 and 50 percent of your total tuition fees. The amount that you are awarded is automatically deducted in set amounts each semester over the duration of your programme.
Other Details
Tuition fee waivers are only available for studying a Master's degree programme which is offered on-campus. You only need to apply once for your scholarship and you do this before the start of your programme.
- The deadline to apply for a scholarship for studies that commence in the spring 2025 semester is October 1st.
- Applications for scholarships for the autumn 2025 semester will open on February 1st, 2025.
