Who Can Apply?

• Applicants must be from a country listed in the OKP Country list, which is available on the official website.
• Applicants should be working for organizations like ministries, educational institutions, universities, private sectors, commissions, or NGOs.
• Applicants must have been admitted to a course or program eligible for the OKP scholarship.
• Your employer must provide a reference and support your application, agreeing to continue paying your salary during the scholarship period.

Application Procedure

1. Begin by browsing the Studyfinder database to find eligible master's programs or short courses.

2. Get in touch with the Dutch higher education institution offering the course to understand the course content, deadlines, and application procedures.

3. Gather all required documents and prepare your application as per the guidelines provided by the institution.

4. Submit your application through the institution offering the program.

What Financial Support is Available?

• The scholarship fully covers the cost of your study program.
• A stipend is provided to cover your accommodation, food, and other living costs.
• The scholarship ensures your visa and residence permits are covered.
• Flight tickets to and from the Netherlands are included.
• The scholarship includes health insurance during your stay in the Netherlands.
• In addition to the above, the scholarship also offers a research grant for your thesis.

Other Details

Eligibility Criteria for Organizations

• The organization must adhere to the Code of Conduct for International Students or be listed among the Additional Knowledge Centres.
• It must ensure that courses are directly offered by the organization without involvement from third parties.
• The organization must demonstrate sufficient financial and organizational capacity to manage the program.
• It is required to meet all reporting deadlines as declared.
• Institutions must provide co-financing for scholarships when applicable, especially for master’s programs exceeding one year in duration.

Eligibility Criteria for Courses

• The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) scholarships, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are available for:
  • Short courses:
    • Round 1: 2 weeks to 12 months in duration.
    • Round 2: 2 weeks to 7 months in duration.
  • Master’s programs:
    • Duration ranges from 12 to 24 months.
• Courses must be full-time, except for e-learning options.
• The program should take place at universities in the Netherlands or in one of the OKP countries.
• The medium of instruction must be English, Spanish, or French.
• Master’s programs must be authorized and accredited.
