Who Can Apply?

Application Procedure

The application process for the ETH Zurich Scholarship is online through the eApply portal. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. The first step is to apply for admission to a Master’s program at ETH Zurich. Applicants can choose from a range of Master’s programs in various fields of study.

  2. If you wish to apply for the ETH Zurich Scholarship, you must submit a separate scholarship application through the same online system. Note that if you are applying for multiple Master’s programs, you need to submit a separate scholarship application for each program.

  3. As part of your scholarship application, you will need to submit a pre-proposal for your Master’s thesis. This proposal should outline the subject you intend to explore during your Master’s studies, and must adhere to academic citation standards.

  4. If required by your program, make sure to submit two reference letters from professors or academic mentors who can vouch for your academic abilities and potential.

  5. Ensure that all required documents, including your Bachelor’s degree transcript, CV, language proficiency test scores, and recommendation letters (if applicable), are uploaded to the system.

  6. Depending on the outcome of your application, you may be contacted for an interview (via phone or video conference) as part of the selection process. It is important to provide a valid phone number where you can be reached.

What Financial Support is Available?

  1. A grant of CHF 12,000 per semester, which helps cover living expenses, study materials, and other academic needs.
  2. The scholarship also includes a waiver of tuition fees, making it easier for students to focus on their studies without worrying about financial burdens.
