The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is designed for outstanding students from non-EU/EER countries who are applying for a Master's (MSc) program at the University of Twente. Seize the chance to be recognized as one of UT's most promising students and gain access to an exclusive opportunity to participate in one of three prestigious honours programs: Research Honours, Design Honours, or Change Leaders.
Step 1 - Apply for a Master's Programme:
Before applying for the UTS, you must first apply for a Master's programme at the University of Twente. Once you receive an admission letter (conditional or unconditional), you can proceed with the scholarship application.
Step 2 - Submit Scholarship Application:
After receiving your (conditional) admission letter, use your student number to apply for the scholarship. The application for the UTS is separate from the course entry application.
Note:
The UTS is not available for students applying to the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), nor for students applying to pre-Master programmes.
Application Deadlines
There are two application rounds for the University of Twente Scholarship:
Round 1:
Application form opens on 15 October 2024, 09.00 CET.
The application closes on 1 February 2025, 16.00 CET.
Round 2:
Application form opens on 1 February 2025, 16.00 CET.
The application closes on 1 May 2025, 16.00 CET.
Please note that if you applied in round 1 and your application was rejected, you will not be able to apply in round 2 for the same year.
Courses Offered
Following Master’s Programs offered at the University:
Applying for a UT scholarship is a separate process from applying for course admission at the University of Twente. Regardless of your funding status, you must first obtain an academic admission letter.
To be eligible, you must have been (provisionally) accepted into one of the qualifying UT Master’s programmes for the academic year 2025/2026 (September). Please note that it may take up to 8 weeks after your application submission to receive the results.
