Overview
The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics Scholarship is a fully funded master’s scholarship available to exceptional international students. The scholarship waives up to 100% of tuition fees and offers a limited number of fully-funded opportunities, including Teaching Assistantships.
With generous contributions from public and private sponsors, the Barcelona GSE ensures that talented students can access world-class education regardless of financial background.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Barcelona GSE Scholarship, applicants must:
- Fulfil the school’s English language proficiency requirements.
- Submit a completed application before July 2, 2025.
- Receive an offer of admission to a BSE program.
- Demonstrate potential to succeed in BSE’s rigorous Master’s programs.
- Meet the specific program requirements.
- No IELTS Required
Application Procedure
1. Gather Required Documents
Prepare the following:
- Transcripts: Upload unofficial copies during the application, and submit official transcripts upon acceptance.
- Undergraduate Diploma: Include a letter committing to graduation if the degree isn’t completed yet.
- Passport Copy
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Maximum of 2 pages.
- Statement of Purpose: Up to 700 words detailing your academic goals and reasons for applying.
- English Proficiency Proof: Submit TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent scores.
- GRE Scores (Optional): Highly recommended for candidates without strong quantitative backgrounds.
- Two Reference Letters: Ensure they cover academic ability, research potential, and adaptability.
2. Complete the Online Application
- Submit one application form for up to three program preferences.
- Pay the €60 non-refundable application fee.
3. Application Deadlines
- Early Deadline: January 15, 2025
- Final Deadline: July 2, 2025
4. Admission Decision
Expect an admission decision, including scholarship information, within 4-6 weeks after submission.
