Celebrating 25 years of excellence, this prestigious program empowers young leaders and professionals from select countries to drive meaningful societal transformation. With a blend of academic rigor, professional development, and cultural immersion, the Lane Kirkland Scholarship is your gateway to a brighter future.

Who Can Apply?

The Kirkland scholarships are addressed to individuals who represent the following professional groups:

• civil servants, employees of central and local government institutions
• lawyers
• entrepreneurs
• managers in NGOs, culture, education, media, environmental protection, healthcare, business
• leaders of non-governmental organizations, animators in culture and civic activity
• academic teachers
• journalists

Preferences

• candidates actively working in their professional and social fields
• candidates who have significant achievements
• candidates who have not yet studied in Poland

Application Procedure

• Research the Program: Before applying, thoroughly research the participating universities and their offered programs. This will help you select the best-fit program for your career goals.

• Prepare Required Documents: Gather all required documents, including your academic transcripts, CV, recommendation letters, a statement of purpose, and proof of language proficiency.

• Submit the Application: Apply through the official scholarship website or the participating universities’ online portals. Ensure that all documents are submitted as per the specific guidelines.

• Interview Process: Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend an interview as part of the selection process. This is an opportunity to showcase your leadership potential and passion for making a difference.

• Final Selection: Successful candidates will be notified of their selection and receive further instructions on completing their enrollment.

Required Documents:

1. Online application form
2. Detailed personal questionnaire
3. Statement of Purpose: A written statement explaining why the candidate wishes to participate in the program, outlining the project they intend to undertake during their stay, a summary of the thesis to be written if selected for the scholarship, as well as plans for applying the knowledge gained (4,000–6,000 characters including spaces).
4. Two reference letters (in Polish or English), detailing the candidate's achievements, qualifications, and their expected future development in professional or social fields. These letters should not be written by family members or spouses/partners.
5. Copy of academic qualifications (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD diploma).

What Financial Support is Available?

• Access to university classes and support from an academic advisor at no cost.
• A stipend of PLN 22,500, paid in 9 monthly installments.
• Reimbursement for travel expenses (arrival and return to Poland) within annually set limits.
