Nationality:
Citizens of Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam.
Holders of Hong Kong permanent identity cards.
Applicants must not be citizens of New Zealand or holders of New Zealand residence class visas.
Academic Level: Full-time enrolment in the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program.
Selection Criteria:
Academic achievement.
Financial need.
Leadership and personal qualities, demonstrated through a personal statement.
Online Submission: Applications must be submitted online by 31 March 2025.
Reapplications Accepted: Previous recipients may apply again and will be considered equally with new applicants.

Important Notes
The scholarship is tenable for one year and is co-tenable with other awards unless stated otherwise.
Continuation is conditional on satisfactory academic progress and adherence to university regulations.
If recipients fail to meet enrolment conditions, the scholarship may be withdrawn, and funds may be recovered.
Financial assistance valued at NZD 10,000.
The scholarship amount is credited directly to the recipient’s University fees account.
