Overview

The Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) Scholarship is a partially funded opportunity provided by the Austrian government. It is available in two categories: scholarships for ADC priority countries and scholarships for other developing nations. This program allows students to study in Austria with significant financial support, designed to benefit individuals from ADC’s priority and other developing countries.

These scholarships are awarded for the Diploma Course at the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITH). The course includes three modules: a General Module, a Professional Module (Hospitality Management or Tourism Management), and an Elective Module (Entrepreneurship or Teacher Training). These partially funded scholarships cover most expenses, including tuition fees, health insurance, accommodation, excursions, food, and a monthly stipend.

The ADC scholarship program is highly competitive, with selection based on a ranking system. It aims to attract talented and high-achieving students from diverse developing countries. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge and practical training, focusing on the latest techniques in hospitality and tourism management. Who Can Apply?

• Applicants must be nationals from ADC’s priority countries, which include Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Bhutan, Palestinian Territories, Georgia, Armenia, and Moldova, or from other OECD DAC developing countries.
• To qualify for the ADC & ITH Scholarship in Austria, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
• Candidates should have a strong passion for exploration and a demonstrated brilliance in their academic achievements.

Application Procedure

• For more information about ITH, students can visit the official website or contact an Austrian consulate or embassy. The ITH application form can be downloaded from the website, or inquiries can be directed to office@ith-salzburg.at.
• All scholarship applications must be submitted directly to the institute via email. It is important for applicants to complete the application form accurately and provide all necessary documents.
• Ensure that the application form is submitted correctly before the Austria International Scholarship 2025 deadline.
• Once submitted, applicants will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt and processing of their application. The results of the application will be announced in May 2025, and successful candidates will receive a letter of acceptance for the ADC scholarship.
