Who Can Apply?
Academic Background
Applicants must possess a first university degree equivalent to 180 ECTS credits (in the European system or its equivalent), completed after at least three years of study at the Bachelor of Science level. The degree should be in one of the following fields:
- Power Systems
- Smart Grids
- Renewable Energy Generation
- Automatic Control
- Power Electronics
Graduation deadlines are as follows:
- Non-European students: Must graduate by 31 July.
- European students: Must graduate by 30 September.
English Language Proficiency
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Applicants whose native language is not English must provide a valid score from one of the following recognized international English proficiency tests:
- TOEFL: CBT 220, ITP 550, or IBT 80
- Cambridge B2 First Test: 173 or higher
- Cambridge C1 Advanced Test: 160 or higher
- IELTS: 6.5 or higher
- TOEIC: 800
Please note:
- No other English tests are accepted.
- Test results must be no older than 3 years at the time of the application deadline.
Application Procedure
Applicants must submit their applications via an online platform. The process involves completing an online form with personal details and uploading the following required documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Include relevant courses and grades related to DREAM fields. If your studies took longer than the usual duration for the degree, provide a brief explanation.
- Identification Document: A scanned copy of the first pages of your passport or identity card, showing your name, date of birth, and other identifying information.
- Academic Records: Certified copies of academic degrees, transcripts, and diploma supplements (if available) from all university studies, along with official English translations.
- Motivation Letter: Use the mandatory template (available in Word or PDF format) to write a motivation letter explaining your interest in the program.
- English Proficiency Proof: Submit a recognized international English test certificate (refer to the FAQ for details).
- Mobility Preferences: Indicate your preferred mobility tracks for the second and third semesters as outlined in the mobility scheme. The selection committee will consider your preferences while balancing group sizes across partner universities.
- Proof of Residence: Provide a document issued within the last 12 months before the application deadline as proof of your residence (details in the FAQ).
