Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Achieve at least AAA at A level or an equivalent qualification from overseas.
• Submit a formal application for a full-time undergraduate degree program at the University of Kent, starting in September.
• Receive a formal offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) for their chosen program.
• Students do not need to have accepted their offer to apply, but those who decline their offer or list Kent as their insurance choice will not be considered.

Important Notes:

• This scholarship is only available to students assessed as overseas fee payers.
• Applicants for distance learning programs are not eligible.
• Applications for KMMS programs or degrees with a foundation year are not eligible.

Application Procedure

• Apply for the International Scholarship through your applicant portal.
• Log in, go to the applications tab, and select your submitted application.
• Click on the funding button to view eligible scholarships.
• Once you receive an offer, click "Apply" and complete the steps to submit your scholarship application.

What Financial Support is Available?

• £6,000 per year of study at the University of Kent. This sum will be directly applied towards the student’s tuition fees for the duration of the undergraduate program (up to 3-4 years).

• Shortlisting Criteria:

  • Academic achievement to date will be the primary basis for shortlisting.
  • Your full program application, including your personal statement and references, will also be considered.

• Selection and Notification:

  • The final selection panel will meet during the week commencing 28 April 2025.
  • Applicants will be notified of the final decision shortly after.

• Accepting the Scholarship:

  • Successful candidates must accept the scholarship offer within two weeks of being awarded.

• Terms and Conditions:

  • The University reserves the right not to award scholarships if no suitable candidates are identified.
  • Scholarships are subject to the University of Kent's Scholarship Terms and Conditions, which will be shared with successful candidates at the time of award.
