Who Can Apply?

  1. Undergraduate:

    • Completed senior secondary education with strong grades.
    • Medically fit.
    • Not in receipt of another scholarship.
  2. Master’s:

    • Hold a bachelor's degree with a “Very Good” academic standing.
    • Preferably have research or work experience.
    • Submit a research proposal relevant to the community's development.
  3. Ph.D.:

    • Hold a master’s degree with a “Very Good” academic standing.
    • Submit a development-focused research proposal.
  4. Postdoctoral Research:

    • Possess a Ph.D. with at least two years of research experience.
    • Have a proven record of publications in the chosen field.
  5. Vocational Training (VET):

    • Citizens of IsDB Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs).
    • Completed high school with good grades.

  1. Secure Admission: Enroll in your desired university.
  2. Submit the Application Form: Complete the IsDB scholarship application.
  3. Provide Necessary Documents:
    • National ID or Passport
    • Academic transcripts
    • Health certificates
    • Research proposal (for higher studies)
  4. Sign the Surety Bond: Commit to returning to your community and contributing to its development after completing your studies.
  5. Submit the Application: Ensure all required information and documents are uploaded.

This program supports young Muslim students from communities in non-member countries, offering undergraduate scholarships in fields like medicine, engineering, computer sciences, and agriculture.

Eligible Countries: Australia, Canada, Croatia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Philippines, Trinidad-Tobago, Vietnam, Zambia, Liberia, Cambodia, Mauritius, Macedonia.

Targeted at students from 20 Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs), this program supports Master’s studies in science and technology at top 1000 universities globally (as per Times Higher Education rankings).

Eligible LDMCs: Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Palestine, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo, Uganda, Yemen.

Focused on advanced research in applied sciences and high technology, this scholarship funds Ph.D. and post-Doctorate studies at prestigious universities worldwide.
