The Adlerbert Study Scholarships offer full tuition coverage for international students from outside the EU/EEA who wish to pursue master's programs at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. The scholarship is available to citizens of 143 developing countries.
Eligibility for 1st Year Master’s Applicants:
Selection is based on the applicant’s academic excellence, with priority given to the weighted average grade, the reputation of the home university (including its global ranking), and the order in which the application is submitted for Chalmers Master’s Programs.
For Final Year Bachelor's Students:
Students who have not yet completed their Bachelor's degree but are in their final semester may apply. A certification from your current university is required, confirming that you are enrolled and participating in the final semester of your studies.
English Language Requirement:
For all Chalmers Master’s programs, the English language proficiency must meet or exceed the level of English 6 (in Swedish upper secondary school). This can be demonstrated through specific high school or university studies, or an internationally recognized English test (such as IELTS or TOEFL).
Application Procedure
Step 1: Create an Account
- Visit the application link to create an account.
- Log in to the website.
- Choose one or more Master’s programs at Chalmers University.
- Click on "to application" to receive your application number.
Step 2: Required Documents
Submit the following documents by uploading them before 1 February:
- Certificates and diplomas from previous university studies (including those from final-year Bachelor’s students).
- Transcripts of completed courses and grades.
- Proof of English language proficiency.
- Documentation proving you meet the specific entry requirements, including course syllabi and, for certain programs, a portfolio.
- Relevant pages of your passport or valid ID.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Project portfolio (required for specific programs such as Architecture and Urban Design, Industrial Design Engineering, etc.).
- A motivation letter (max one page, in English).
- Certificates of relevant work experience (if applicable).
- Optional letters of recommendation (maximum two), including clear contact information and organization details.
- Optional: Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) from your Bachelor’s studies.
Step 3: Submit Online Request
- Access the online application and submit the request to obtain the personal link to your scholarship application form.
- You will receive an email with a link to the online scholarship application form within 24 hours, though it may take a few days depending on weekends and holidays.
Step 4: Complete the Online Scholarship Application
- Log in with your application number.
- Choose "Adlerbert Study Scholarships (100% tuition fee reduction)" and enter your personal details, including name, date of birth, CGPA, passing grade, and graduation date.
Step 5: Notification and Confirmation
- Scholarship notifications will be sent via email between March and mid-April.
- To accept the scholarship offer, confirm by following the instructions provided in the notification before the deadline.
