Application Procedure
To apply for this scholarship, please follow the steps below:
- Create an application on the DI admission portal.
- Applicants are allowed to submit only one application; duplicate applications will be disregarded.
- You can save your progress and complete your application over multiple sessions.
- All application materials must be uploaded via the online portal.
- Applicants can request references through the online application system.
- Referees will automatically receive the reference request and can complete the reference forms online.
- Applicants can monitor the status of their references online and have the option to remind referees or request new references after submitting the application.
Required Documents:
- Identification document: Passport for international applicants, or Qatari ID for Qatari citizens and residents of Qatar.
- Undergraduate transcripts. Senior year students should submit all transcripts obtained up to the current date.
- Graduation certificate or diploma for graduates.
- Resume (CV).
- TOEFL or IELTS results, or an official statement confirming that the degree was taught in English as the primary language of instruction.
- Personal Statement.
- Academic Essay (for applicants to the School of Social Sciences and Humanities).

Qatari Applicant Requirements:
- Achieve an overall score of 80% or its equivalent in high school, with a minimum of 80% in Math, English, and Science.
- Submit a valid secondary school certificate from the current or previous year.
- English proficiency requirements:
- TOEFL CBT: 196, TOEFL iBT: 70
- IELTS: 5.5, with no component below 5, and a minimum score of 5.5 in both Writing and Reading.
Qatari Mother Applicant Requirements:
- Achieve an overall score of 90% or its equivalent in high school, with a minimum of 90% in Math, English, and Science.
- Submit a valid secondary school certificate from the current or previous year.
- English proficiency requirements:
- TOEFL CBT: 196, TOEFL iBT: 70
- IELTS: 6, with no component below 5.5, and at least 5.5 in both Writing and Reading.
- Pass the company’s medical test.
- Obtain a police clearance certificate.
- For high school graduates, completion of National Service is required unless the university is approved under the Emiri Scholarship Programme.
- Accept the department and work location assigned by Qatar Airways.
- Pass a personal interview with the company.
- Provide an offer letter from a university in a field approved by the company (foundation courses from third-party institutions are not acceptable).

Admission Selection Process:
The Admissions Department ensures that all applicants meet the necessary requirements and conditions for admission. The evaluation of admission applications follows these steps:
1. Transcript Evaluation
The Admissions Department reviews the submitted transcripts to confirm that applicants meet the minimum grade requirements outlined in the attached table.
2. Academic Evaluation
Applicants who pass the transcript evaluation are assessed by the academic evaluation committee members of their respective programs. During this stage, the committee considers all submitted documents, including academic records, resume, academic essay, personal statement, and IELTS/TOEFL scores.
3. Interview Evaluation
Applicants who succeed in the academic evaluation are invited for an interview with the academic evaluation committee. The interview allows the committee to assess the applicant's personal, academic, and research abilities. Interviews are conducted in person for applicants residing in Qatar and online for those living outside the country.
