The Auburn University International Undergrad AUM Scholarship is specifically designed for international students who are planning to pursue their undergraduate studies at Auburn University. This scholarship is a valuable financial aid opportunity that can significantly reduce the cost of tuition for eligible students.

Who Can Apply?

• Must be an international student (non-US citizen or permanent resident)
• Must meet the university’s English proficiency requirements
• A strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Demonstration of financial need

Application Procedure

1. Begin by applying for an undergraduate or graduate degree program at Auburn University at Montgomery. You can create an account on the university’s application portal to start and track your application.

2. After creating an account, fill out and submit your online application. Be sure to include all required supporting documents, such as your transcripts, test scores (ACT, SAT, or other), and any other materials specified in the application form.

3. After submitting your application, send in any additional documents (e.g., proof of English proficiency, letters of recommendation) as needed.

4. Once AUM receives your completed application and all supplemental materials, the university will review your application and inform you of their decision via email and regular mail.

5. Deadline: Open all year round

What Financial Support is Available?

1. International Undergrad Warhawk Scholarship

   • Value: $4,000/year ($2,000 for each fall and spring semester)

2. International Undergrad AUM Scholarship

   • Value: $2,000/year ($1,000 for each fall and spring semester)

3. International Graduate Warhawk Scholarship

   • Value: $4,000/year ($2,000 for each fall and spring semester)

4. International Graduate AUM Scholarship

   • Value: $2,000/year ($1,000 for each fall and spring semester)

5. International Graduate Focus Scholarship

   • Value: Up to $10,000 for the duration of the program

Other Details

International Undergrad Warhawk Scholarship: 

• Freshman: High school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
  • 76 or higher on TOEFL IBT
  • 540 or higher on TOEFL ITP OR PBT
  • 6.5 on IELTS
• Transfer/Exchange students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.00 scale
• Current students: 3.25 cumulative AUM grade-point average

International Undergrad AUM Scholarship:

• Freshman:  High school GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
  • 68 or higher on TOEFL IBT
  • 520 or higher on TOEFL ITP OR PBT
  • 6.0 on IELTS
• Transfer/Exchange students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale
• Current students: 3.00 cumulative AUM grade-point average

International Graduate Warhawk Scholarship:

• New Students:  Undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
  • 76 or higher on TOEFL IBT
  • 540 or higher on TOEFL ITP OR PBT
  • 6.5 on IELTS
• Current Students: 3.5 cumulative AUM grade-point average

International Graduate AUM scholarship:

• New Students:  Undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
  • 68 or higher on TOEFL IBT
  • 520 or higher on TOEFL ITP OR PBT
  • 6.0 on IELTS
• Current Students: 3.25 cumulative AUM grade-point average
