In a world where conflict and persecution disrupt countless lives, University College London (UCL) has stepped forward with a transformative initiative—the UCL Humanitarian Scholarships. This program is designed to provide essential financial support to students fleeing armed conflict or persecution, ensuring they have access to world-class education and the tools to rebuild their futures.

Who Can Apply?

  1. Applicants must be at serious risk due to armed conflict or have been displaced within the last three years.
  2. Applicants must come from a lower-income background and demonstrate an inability to fund their studies without assistance.

Applications for the UCL Humanitarian Scholarships will open in February 2025, with the first cohort of students expected to join in September 2025. The program will initially support four students each year, with plans for expansion as additional funding becomes available.
