Who Can Apply?

1.  Be enrolled full-time as a high school senior in the United States and progressing toward graduation in spring/summer 2025.
2. Commit to earning a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit institution in the U.S. (Students may start at a two-year college and transfer to a four-year institution).
3. Demonstrate critical financial need with an adjusted gross family income of $55,000 or less.
4. Be actively engaged in co-curricular and community service activities.
5. Show integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.
6. Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
7. Be a United States citizen.

Application Procedure

1. Begin your application online through the Horatio Alger Association website.
2. Register and log in to access the application portal.
3. Provide all necessary personal, academic, and financial information.
4. Submit required materials, including:
   • High school transcript
   • Proof of income or financial documents
