Established in 2002 by the Institute of International Education (IIE), this program is committed to safeguarding intellectual freedom and academic talent by enabling scholars to continue their research and teaching in safe environments.

Step 3: Placement and Fellowship Agreement
Upon selection, IIE-SRF will coordinate with host institutions to secure an academic placement that aligns with your expertise. Final fellowship amounts are determined based on location, cost of living, and contributions from host institutions.
