The Ms. Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship is a coveted academic fellowship offered to Indian scholars for advanced research in the field of Modern Indian Studies at the University of Oxford, UK. Instituted in memory of Ms. Agatha Harrison, a distinguished British academic and social reformer with a deep connection to India, this fellowship aims to foster intellectual collaboration and cultural exchange between India and the United Kingdom.
The recipient of Ms. Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship is also given return Air travel allowance, in an Economy class. The travel allowance is also applicable for the scholar’s spouse, only if he/she stays in the UK along with the scholar for a continuous period of one year. However, if the spouse lives with the candidate, then the candidate will have to meet the expenditure of the spouse by himself/herself, as the fellowship amount is given only for a single person.
