The Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship at the University of Bath is an opportunity for exceptional international students pursuing a master's degree in the UK. This prestigious scholarship offers £5,000 fee waivers to help cover the cost of tuition fees.

Who Can Apply?

• Must hold an offer for a full-time taught master's course in one of the eligible faculties.
• Open to international students from all countries.
• Must meet English language proficiency requirements.

Application Procedure

Follow these steps to apply for the scholarship:

1. Apply for a Master’s Program

• Choose a full-time taught master’s program in one of the eligible faculties:
  • Faculty of Engineering & Design
  • Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences
  • Faculty of Science
• Submit your application and secure an offer from the University of Bath.

2. Submit the Scholarship Application

• Once you receive an offer, complete the scholarship application form via your application tracker.
• Answer 3-5 questions as part of the application process, focusing on your academic achievements and goals.

What Financial Support is Available?

• Each of the Faculties will award eight Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships worth £5,000. The awards are available for full-time taught master’s courses and can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees.

  • 8 x £5,000 scholarships available in the Faculty of Engineering & Design
  • 8 x £5,000 scholarships available in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences
  • 8 x £5,000 scholarships available in the Faculty of Science
