Application Procedure

To apply for the Deakin International Scholarship, please follow these application instructions:

You will need to submit:

• A completed Deakin International Scholarship Program application form (PDF, 536KB).
• A personal statement of 300 words.
• A completed application to study at Deakin, along with academic transcripts.
• Email your completed application form to the Deakin International Admissions office.
• You may also be invited for an interview.

Important Notes:

Your personal statement should be written by you, expressing your personal views and should include:

• A summary of why you wish to study at Deakin University.
• Details of any extracurricular activities and work experience (paid or voluntary) you've undertaken.
• An explanation of why you believe you would be an exceptional ambassador for Deakin University.
• Any additional information to support your application.

Successful applicants will be notified by Deakin International within six weeks of applying. As scholarships are limited by international quotas, students are encouraged to apply early to improve their chances. It is recommended that scholarship applications be submitted at least one month prior to the start of studies at Deakin.

What Financial Support is Available?

Deakin International Scholarship will cover 25% of your tuition fees.
