The goal of the Université Paris-Saclay International Master's Scholarship is to enhance access to world-class Master's programmes for high-achieving students worldwide. It is particularly focused on those aspiring to engage in research and possibly continue to doctoral studies. These scholarships are available for the academic year 2025–2026 and are awarded based on academic merit.
These scholarships are specifically available for students enrolled in Master's programmes offered by Université Paris-Saclay and its associated institutions:

Institut d’Optique Graduate School (IOGS)
Université Évry
Université Paris-Saclay (UPSaclay)
Université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ)
Depending on the student's entry level (M1 or M2), the scholarship may be awarded for one or two academic years, contingent on academic performance and completion of required credits.
€10,000 per academic year, paid over 10 months (September–June)
Up to €900 for travel and visa expenses (based on the country of origin)
Funds are disbursed only upon arrival and after registration—no advance payments are made
Scholarship holders are encouraged to undertake their research internships within Université Paris-Saclay labs. If internships are done elsewhere in France and the stipend exceeds €1,000/month, or if the internship is overseas, the scholarship may be suspended or reduced.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Eligible:
Admitted to a Master’s programme at Université Paris-Saclay or its associated institutions
Aged 30 years or younger in the selection year
First-time international students in France
Also eligible are students:
Living in France for under a year for non-degree training or language courses
Previously in France on student mobility programmes (e.g., Erasmus) that did not award a French degree
Not Eligible:
Students who have already studied or earned a degree in France (unless it was through a French institution abroad)
Those who have taken a study break of more than 3 years
Students receiving another scholarship exceeding €600/month
Additionally, the University supports refugee and protected-status students in collaboration with the UNHCR and MEnS association. Such candidates can mention their status in the application statement to be considered for additional support.
All academic disciplines are welcome under this scholarship—except for vocational training programmes. Programmes must be accredited by Université Paris-Saclay.
Admission into a Master's programme does not guarantee a scholarship. Only students who are shortlisted and invited via email by Université Paris-Saclay are eligible to apply. No unsolicited or direct applications are accepted.
Once selected, candidates will receive an email with a link to the application portal. Applicants must:
Complete the online form
Provide contact details for two referees (professors, research supervisors, etc.)
Each referee will receive an email link to submit a recommendation. The application is only considered complete once both references are submitted before the deadline.
Note: Applicants will not be notified when their application is marked complete—it’s their responsibility to follow up with referees.
