The Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, is offering 40 fully funded scholarships for the academic year 2025–2026. These prestigious scholarships are available for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs at accredited Romanian state universities.

However, this opportunity is specially tailored for non-EU and non-EFTA nationals. Students from countries that do not have cultural or educational cooperation agreements with Romania are particularly encouraged to apply. Citizens of EU and EFTA countries are not eligible for this program.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the ARICE Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a non-EU and non-EFTA citizen
Priority given to applicants from countries without existing cultural or educational agreements with Romania
Must hold academic credentials equivalent to Romanian university admission standards
Should demonstrate strong academic performance
Should either know Romanian or be willing to complete the free preparatory language course
