That’s where the Expatrio Scholarship steps in, providing vital financial support to international students pursuing their education in Germany. Expatrio, a company focused on facilitating study in Germany, offers this scholarship to help alleviate some of the financial pressures that students face. Benefits

First prize: €12,000
Second prize: €6,000
Third prize: €3,000
Prizes for winners from 4th to 10th place incl. 3 months’ rent, a new laptop, German language lessons, semester contribution fees.

Eligibilty Criteria

Enrollment in a German University: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an accredited university in Germany for an undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral program.
International Student Status: The Expatrio Scholarship is intended for international students, so applicants should not be German citizens or permanent residents.
Academic Excellence: Students with strong academic records, demonstrated by transcripts or other academic achievements, are given preference.
Financial Need: Although not always mandatory, showing financial need can strengthen an application, as the scholarship aims to assist students facing financial challenges.
Personal Statement: Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to their field of study, career aspirations, and how the scholarship will impact their goals through a well-articulated personal statement.
English or German Language Proficiency: Proficiency in either English or German is usually required, as courses in Germany are offered in both languages.

Application Process and Important Dates

Our Scholarship is open to students from all over the world who meet the following criteria:

You apply for the Expatrio Value Package by the 30th September 2024.
You will start your studies in the Winter Semester 2024.
You will arrive in Germany and activate your Blocked Account and Health Insurance by 31st October 2024.

Video submission guidelines:

Students are assessed based on their video submission answering the following question: Why are you passionate about the field of study you are pursuing in Germany?
The video should be in mp4 format, should not be longer than 2 minutes, or include any copyrighted content.
Deadline for submitting your video submission is 30th September 2024.
