The Spectrum Scholars Program offers a range of benefits aimed at supporting students in their academic and professional journeys. These include:
Scholarship Assistance: Selected students will receive a total of $20,000 in scholarship funds. The first $10,000 is awarded at the beginning of their junior year, and the second $10,000 is disbursed at the start of their senior year.
Paid Internship: Scholars are guaranteed a 10-week paid summer internship, allowing them to gain practical experience in their field of study.
Professional Development: The program includes structured engagement opportunities, career-readiness training, and telecommunications industry education to prepare students for future success.
Mentorship Support: Each scholar is paired with a Spectrum employee mentor who provides valuable guidance throughout the program.
To be considered for the Spectrum Scholars Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a rising junior graduating between May 2027 and August 2027, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrate financial need.
Be willing to explore summer internship opportunities with Spectrum.
Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Have U.S. work authorization without the need for sponsorship.
Be able to participate in and successfully complete all program-related activities.
Reside within 50 miles of a Charter corporate office located in Stamford, CT; Charlotte, NC; St. Louis, MO; Denver, CO; or Austin, TX.
