The Rollins Epidemiology Fellowship Program is a prestigious two-year, full-time initiative designed to provide hands-on training and professional development for early-career epidemiologists. Fellows gain practical experience by working in Epidemiologist 1 roles at either the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) or within one of Georgia’s 18 health districts. Through a combination of fieldwork, competency-based training, and mentorship, participants develop critical skills essential for advancing their careers in public health.

    • District 4 – Fayetteville, GA

Program Structure

  • Fellows work as Epidemiologist 1 at district or state levels.

  • The fellowship includes competency-based training modules.

  • Participants receive ongoing professional development throughout the program.
