The Women at Microsoft (WAM) Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for students who are passionate about technology and aspire to build a career in STEM fields. Scholarship Award

The WAM Scholarship provides 26 one-time awards of $5,000 USD to selected students, helping them financially as they embark on their undergraduate studies in STEM fields.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Women at Microsoft Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior.
  • Identify as a woman, non-binary, gender-fluid, or transgender woman.
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for a degree in technology, engineering, mathematics, or computer science.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
  • Microsoft employees and their children are not eligible to apply.
  • International students can apply if they are planning to study in the U.S.

Selection Process

The selection committee evaluates applicants based on multiple factors, including:

Financial need will also be considered, and applicants must demonstrate their financial situation to qualify.
