The K.C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad are prestigious financial aids designed to support Indian students aspiring to pursue higher education at esteemed global institutions. Scholarship Details

Since 1956, the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust has been granting interest-free loan scholarships to meritorious students pursuing postgraduate studies abroad. Each year, the scholarships are awarded as follows:

  • The maximum amount for the scholarship will be Rs.5 lakhs per scholar, except for the 3 K.C. Mahindra fellow scholarships for which the maximum amount will be Rs.10 lakhs per scholar.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.

  • Educational Qualification: Should have a First-Class degree or equivalent diploma from a recognized university.

  • Admission to Foreign Universities: Applicants must have secured or applied for admission to a recognized foreign university for courses starting between August 2025 and February 2026.

Application Process and Important Dates

The application process is conducted online, with no paper-based forms or application fees. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 31, 2025. Students applying for undergraduate studies, seminars, or conferences are ineligible.

Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:

  1. Letter of Recommendation (LoR): From a referee on official letterhead

  2. Admission Letter: Proof of admission from the university. If awaiting admission, submit a statement confirming the application status.

  3. Statement of Purpose (SoP): A 500-600 word document outlining academic background, professional experiences, aspirations, and future goals

  4. GRE/GMAT Score (if applicable): Standardized test score proof

  5. IELTS/TOEFL Score (if applicable): Proof of English proficiency

  6. Academic Records: Degree certificates, mark sheets, and transcripts

  7. Rank Certificate (if applicable): Proof of ranking in university or board exams

  8. Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets and School Leaving Certificate: School academic records

  9. Proof of Age: Passport or Aadhar Card copy

  10. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Latest resume highlighting academic and professional achievements.
