The Erasmus Mundus MemBioMed Scholarship offers international students a fully funded opportunity to pursue the prestigious International MemBioMed Master’s Programme (From Membrane Biology to Neuroscience and Experimental Medicine). This interdisciplinary degree focuses on biomembrane research and is jointly conducted by three leading European universities: Université Côte d'Azur (UniCA, France), University of Genoa (UniGe, Italy), and Osnabrück University (UOS, Germany). By leveraging the unique strengths of these institutions, the program provides comprehensive training in membrane biology through cutting-edge research facilities and academic resources.
Students follow an integrated learning pathway across three different countries:
Semester 1: Université Côte d’Azur, France
Semester 2: University of Genoa, Italy
Semester 3: Osnabrück University, Germany
Semester 4: Master’s thesis at any consortium university or an associated partner institution
The curriculum is designed to integrate the latest scientific developments in biomembrane research, offering students a hands-on learning experience through internships, collaborative projects, workshops, and thematic schools. The program equips graduates with interdisciplinary skills essential for careers in science, industry, and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on the therapeutic applications of cell membrane dynamics. Additionally, communication and networking skills are emphasized to prepare students for leadership roles in a global setting.
