The PRSA Foundation Fellowships 2025: Scholarships & Paid Internships for BIPOC PR and Communication Students in the US

The PRSA Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is dedicated to fostering diversity in public relations by supporting professionals and companies in serving a diverse world effectively.

Applications for the 2025 fellowship program are now open! This year, eight fellowships totaling $92,500 in scholarships, along with paid internship opportunities in PR agencies, will be awarded to public relations and communications students from historically underrepresented communities.


Fellowship Opportunities:

AGEAN Public Relations Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $2,500

  • Internship: 5-week paid remote internship

  • Eligibility: BIPOC students pursuing a career in public relations

Greenough Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $3,500

  • Internship: 8-week paid internship in Boston, MA

  • Eligibility: BIPOC students majoring or minoring in PR, journalism, marketing, or communications

Bliss-Baker Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $5,000

  • Internship: 8-week paid internship in New York, NY

  • Eligibility: BIPOC students pursuing careers in journalism, PR, marketing, or communications

LaunchSquad Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $15,000

  • Stipend: $4,000

  • Internship: 8-week paid remote internship

  • Eligibility: BIPOC students in journalism, PR, marketing, and communications

Mission North The Future Is… Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $35,000

  • Stipend: $6,000

  • Internship: 8-week paid internship in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA

  • Eligibility: BIPOC students focused on tech communications, science communications, or digital marketing & design

V2 Communications Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $2,500

  • Internship: 8-week paid full-time internship in Boston, MA

  • Eligibility: BIPOC students majoring in PR, journalism, marketing, communications, digital marketing & design, or tech marketing

The Key PR Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $10,000

  • Stipend: $4,000

  • Internship: 8-week paid internship in San Francisco, CA

  • Eligibility: BIPOC or first-generation college students majoring in PR, marketing, or communications

HermesPR Fellowship

  • Scholarship: $5,000

  • Internship: 6-week paid internship in New York, NY

  • Eligibility: BIPOC students majoring in PR, marketing, communications, English, liberal arts, digital marketing, journalism, public policy, business, or related fields
