The Felix Scholarships are designed for individuals with outstanding academic achievements, enabling them to undertake postgraduate studies in the UK. Eligible Programmes
The scholarship is open for:
- Any full-time PhD programme.
- Any full-time taught Master’s programme.
Note: Part-time programmes and Pre-sessional funding are not covered.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Felix Scholarship, candidates must:
- Nationality: Be Indian nationals currently residing in India.
- Academic Merit:
- Hold a first-class Bachelor’s degree from an Indian university (or an equivalent institution).
- For PhD applicants, an upper second-class Bachelor’s degree is acceptable if complemented by a first-class Master’s degree.
- Financial Need: Demonstrate financial constraints in pursuing higher education.
- Commitment to Return: Commit to returning to India after completing their studies.
- Study History: Not have studied outside India for one year or more, nor hold degrees from non-Indian universities.
- Application Deadline: Submit a complete application for their chosen programme by 31 January 2025.

Apply for Your Chosen Programme:
Submit an online application for admission to either a Master’s or Research degree by 12:00 PM on 31 January 2025:

Apply for the Felix Scholarship:
Complete the online Felix application form by 12:00 PM on 31 January 2025.
Selection Process
- Candidates are assessed based on academic merit and financial need.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified by March 2025 and invited for online interviews with the Felix Trust in April-May 2025.
- Final results will be announced by June 2025.
Key Deadlines
- Scholarship Application Deadline: 12:00 PM (midday) on 31 January 2025.
- Unconditional Offer Requirement: Candidates must hold a firm (unconditional) offer by the time the SOAS Scholarship Panel convenes.
