To qualify for the Eamon Molloy Memorial Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Language: Proficiency in English.
Nationality:
Citizens of Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam.
Holders of Hong Kong permanent identity cards.
Applicants must not be citizens of New Zealand or holders of New Zealand residence class visas.
Academic Level: Full-time enrolment in the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program.
Selection Criteria:
Academic achievement.
Financial need.
Leadership and personal qualities, demonstrated through a personal statement.
Online Submission: Applications must be submitted online by 31 March 2025.
Reapplications Accepted: Previous recipients may apply again and will be considered equally with new applicants.

The scholarship is tenable for one year and is co-tenable with other awards unless stated otherwise.
Continuation is conditional on satisfactory academic progress and adherence to university regulations.
