Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Eamon Molloy Memorial Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Language: Proficiency in English.

  • Nationality:

    • Citizens of Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam.

    • Holders of Hong Kong permanent identity cards.

    • Applicants must not be citizens of New Zealand or holders of New Zealand residence class visas.

  • Academic Level: Full-time enrolment in the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program.

  • Selection Criteria:

    • Academic achievement.

    • Financial need.

    • Leadership and personal qualities, demonstrated through a personal statement.

Application Process

  1. Online Submission: Applications must be submitted online by 31 March 2025.

  2. Reapplications Accepted: Previous recipients may apply again and will be considered equally with new applicants.
