Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for the KTH Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • International Student: You must be a fee-paying international student from a non-EU/EEA/EFTA country.
  • Priority Master’s Program Application: You must apply to a master’s program at KTH as your first priority.
  • Tuition Fee: You are required to pay tuition fees for the master’s program at KTH.
  • Admission Requirements: You must meet the admission requirements for your chosen master’s program.
  • Program Restrictions: The scholarship is not available for students enrolled in Erasmus Mundus, EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Urban Mobility, or other specified programs.
  • Academic Excellence and Leadership: You must demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to leadership, sustainable development, and contributing to global challenges.

Application Process

The application process for the KTH Scholarship 2025 is a two-step procedure:

  1. Apply for a Master’s Program: First, submit an application to an eligible master’s program at KTH through universityadmissions.se by 15 January 2025.

  2. Complete the Scholarship Application: Visit the KTH scholarship webpage starting 1 December 2024 and click on the “Apply Now” button. Complete the online scholarship application form.

  3. Provide Required Information: During the scholarship application, you will need to include:

    • Your eight-digit application number from university admissions.
    • A motivational statement (500 characters) explaining your aspirations and achievements.
    • A statement on your commitment to sustainable development goals (1000 characters).
  4. Submit Documents: Along with your application, submit the following documents:

    • Academic transcripts from previous institutions.
    • Proof of eligibility for the master’s program.
    • A separate statement on your goals related to sustainable development.

  • Application Opens: 1 December 2024
  • Application Closes: 15 January 2025 (midnight CET)
