Sponsored by WISS Woolbrokers, BJ Underwood Pty Ltd, the Australian Wool Education Trust, and the Geoff & Helen Handbury Foundation, this scholarship encourages young, dedicated individuals to explore opportunities in agriculture and wool-related fields.

Benefits

The Marcus Oldham College Scholarship offers the following financial support:

$15,000 towards tuition fees for the academic year(s), unless otherwise agreed by the college.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Marcus Oldham College Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Required Language: English
Eligible Countries: Open to all international students
Program Enrollment: Must be enrolled or intending to enroll in Year 1 of the Agriculture Program at Marcus Oldham College.

- A statement of Year 12 results and university ENTER score (if applicable)
- Scholarship Essay: A 500-word essay answering, "In applying for this scholarship, you are signaling your interest in a career in the sheep and wool industry. What future activity in the industry do you wish to pursue?"
- College Essay: A 100-word essay answering, "What are your career goals and aspirations?"

Important Notes

You may apply for multiple scholarships but can only receive one scholarship in a given academic year. If applying for multiple scholarships, only one copy of your CV and College essay is required.
After submitting your application, you will receive an acknowledgment email.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an on-campus interview on September 2, 2024.
If no applicants meet the criteria, the scholarship may not be awarded, and the college reserves the right to extend the deadline or interview dates.
