Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Edith Cowan University Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Required Language: English
  • Eligible Countries: Open to all international students
  • Offer of Admission: Applicants must have received an unconditional offer of a place in an ECU higher degree by research (PhD or Integrated PhD)
  • Start Date: Students must be able to commence studies on-campus by October 1, 2024
  • Ineligibility: You cannot apply if you meet any of the following conditions:
    • You have already completed an Australian Research Doctorate Degree or equivalent
    • You have been in receipt of an Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) or an Australia Award scholarship within the last two years
    • You are enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) program after Semester 1, 2024
    • You receive stipend income that exceeds 75% of the base stipend rate

Application Process

The application process for the Edith Cowan University Scholarship involves several steps:

  3. Submit Your Application: Complete and submit your course application, including all necessary supporting documents such as:
