The University of Dundee's Global Excellence Scholarship is designed to attract and support outstanding international students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate taught programs. It recognizes academic excellence and helps reduce the financial burden, making higher education in the UK more accessible.

Benefits

The Global Excellence Scholarship offers financial support:

  • Undergraduate Students: Up to £15,000 for a 3-year program, £20,000 for a 4-year program, and £25,000 for a 5-year program.
  • Postgraduate Students: £5,000 for the program duration (1 year).

This scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, providing a pathway to excellence at a reduced financial burden.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Required Language: English.
  2. Eligible Countries: Open to students from all countries.

For Undergraduate Applicants:

  • Secure an academic offer for an undergraduate program beginning in September.
  • Hold international fee status.
  • Achieve AAB at UK A Level or equivalent qualifications.
  • Note: Programs in Medicine and Dentistry are not eligible.

For Postgraduate Applicants:

  • Obtain an academic offer for a full-time taught postgraduate program (180 credits, 12 months).
  • Hold international fee status.
  • Attain a UK First-Class Honours degree or an equivalent qualification.

Application Process 

Follow these steps to apply for the scholarship:

  1. Apply to the University of Dundee for your chosen course.
  2. Upon receiving a conditional or unconditional offer, the university will assess your eligibility.
  3. Eligible applicants will receive a scholarship application link via email.
  4. Submit the completed application, and expect a decision within eight weeks.

Important: The scholarship process is by invitation only. Ensure your course application is submitted well before the deadline.
